We stayed at a hostel in a great location, just a short walk from everywhere in town. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of information about the area. the room we had was clean and had a fan, outlet, and a light by each bed. the hostel had modern facilities and a sociable atmosphere, making it a perfect place to meet other travelers.
It can get quite loud at night due to the large number of travelers chatting.

Lovely chill out area in the courtyard with hammocks and a cool little bar. Fun pancakes to make yourself for breakfast with lots of bananas. Good location next to La Merced church for sunset.
Felt very well looked after, no complaints at all.

We loved the communal areas at De Boca En Boca, especially the lovely garden in the middle. The bunk beds were thoughtfully designed with personal light, hooks, and water bottle holders. The hostel catered well to backpackers with big lockers, plenty of bathrooms/showers, a welcome drink, and a large social area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Our private room and bathroom were a bit small, but still clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast of pancakes got a bit repetitive after a few days.

The hostel had a great, chill atmosphere where I felt comfortable and social. the staff were super helpful and offered plenty of activities to do. They even had boards with tips from other travelers about places to go and stay. the location was convenient and close to everything I needed. the hostel had a huge kitchen with filtered water and plenty of seating in the shade. the rooms had comfortable beds, fans, and plugs for devices. the price was worth it for what they offered.
The showers had low pressure and some of them didn't work at all.

We recently stayed at a hostel in a city and it was hard to beat! During our three-month trip in Central America, this was our favorite hostel by far. we loved it so much that we even came back for a second time! the place was clean, secure, and had all the necessary information. the staff at De Boca en Boca were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was easy to meet new people and the atmosphere was fantastic. Plus, they served the best cocktails in Nicaragua! the location was also perfect, being next to a beautiful old church and just a few minutes' walk from the main square and the vibrant street full of bars and restaurants. Despite being so close to the action, the hostel was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to have a good night's sleep.
Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.
